The Trail of the Octopus

　　Criminologist Carter Holmes travels the globe trying to recover and keep safe the 9 daggers which will unlock a secret vault containing the Devil's Trademark, an ancient relic with massive power.
　　The relic was uncovered from an Egyptian temple and relocated to the vault by scientist Dr. Stanhope. Stanhope is murdered as various nefarious parties compete to get the daggers first - sometimes working together, sometimes helping Carter.Stanhope's daughter Ruth (also Carter's girlfriend) is constantly being kidnapped as a bargaining chip, as well for sex slavery and human sacrifice, by Devil worshippers,a Turkish sheik, the masked Monsieur X, a few lesser criminals, and the supernatural Asian Dr. Wang Foo who plans on world dominion.
