纪录片导演李华强长期关注上海普通人生存状况，他以影像的方式记录了2011年年底的一个名为《我们WOMEN》的展览的诞生。作为首部探讨上海本土性别平等与社会进步的纪录片，本片从展场进入到上海市的公共空间和日常生活，试图探讨城市与性别和性的关系，传递关于个体、 社会、多元共生主题的思考。在拍摄展览期间，拍摄人员多次调转镜头跟随参与本展览的性少数团体成员，并走进上海同志群体的生活，聚焦于上海同性恋群体中的多种人际关系，采访了李刚和亮亮（恋人）、梅姐和乌龟（母子）、爵士乐歌手Coco等人，呈现了这个群体...
