一位曾在感化院担任教师的马修，想把自己在感化院中的故事写成书出版，但是却得不到出版商的兴趣。在困顿之虞，马修替一位玩具飞机制造商担任宣传，而制造商雷蒙则设法拜托朋友在报社设一个专栏来记载马修的故事。而在刊登后，马修的女友玛婷大感兴趣，要求马修述说更多细节，因而马修回忆起当初在感化院中，训练一群被认为是无可救药的孩子，成为杰出的儿童合唱团。而在故事说完时，马修这才发现原来玛婷是当年其中一位顽皮学生的表姐。...
