　　One of the co-directors of SMOKING ROOM (¡Viva! 2003) returns with his solo directorial feature début. LA SILLA is an existentialist, blackly comic reflection on modern life, inflected with flashes of absurdity a la Beckett. A man recognises the tedium of his existence, but nothing seems to help him escape it. He tries new friends and different advice but nothing works. Then one day he spies a chair and is convinced that it will bring new meaning to his life. He focuses his faith on the chair and sets out to achieve his dream.
