1973年的蒙特维多市，一个12岁的的孩子，与众不同，情窦初开。一周后，这一切却因这个南美最小的国家的血腥军事冲击而终结。刚一踏上了父母所在的土地，哈维，成为了潘普洛纳奥萨苏纳的一名新成员，但过去的生活却仍然历历在目。在30多岁的时候，他终于第一次走出这个小国，再次遇见了罗萨那，这个女孩怀着爱意与痛恨度过了20年希望哈维能前来找她，并告诉她1973年乌拉圭的那些记忆。那时的乌拉圭，在民主制度假面的遮掩之下，不能掩藏民众的不满，政治家、游击队和士兵们的地方腐败，以及其所造成的国家冲击。...
