秦仲卿（勾峰 饰）在红叶镇无法找到住宿，不得已在开元寺借宿。在那里，他遇到了一个美艳的女郎，她试图以美色和黄金来诱惑秦仲卿，但秦并没有为其所动，于是他离开了。次日，秦告别邻居徐豪，准备前往登州收账，但徐告诉他登州刚遭受了屠城，建议他延迟一些时间再去。 在一个深夜，秦仲卿被一阵美妙的乐声吸引，走到开元寺后面的水榭。在那里，他再次遇到了昨晚的女郎，她向秦道歉，并将他打发走。然而，更加离奇的事情发生了，王生和他的书童王兴也来到开元寺寻找住宿，女郎来到王生的房间，王生产生邪念，但很快就被一个老妖吸血而死...
