电影简介:

英信和东赫参加了新闻社主办的学生启蒙运动，培养了深厚的同志友谊，并相约一起努力发展农村运动。他们中途退学，在农村掀起诸多启蒙运动，企图带给农民大众以生活的希望。但由于地主阶层的频频介入，运动大多以失败告终。英信租借教会为教学场地，辅导孩子们各类知识。他十分不满于日本警察的所作所为，因此下定决心创办学校。学校的竣工仪式上，英信终于不堪重负病倒。这时，东赫遭到同志背信，行使权被地主们抢夺。一气之下，他放火烧了农友会馆，将地主杀害。东赫被捕，经过严刑拷打成为植物人，后被假释出狱。最后，英信也不幸亡故。...
